CESCE is also the Spanish export credit agency (ECA) managing export credit insurance on behalf of the Spanish State. In 2018 Standard&Poors upgraded CESCE’s long-term rating from BBB+ to A-, with stable outlook. The rating agency considers that CESCE has a strong business profile based on its solvency capital exceeding AAA and its impressive results. S&P's conclude that our outlook is stable, expect our competitive position to be satisfactory and predict our capital and income to stay moderately high over the next two years. They also highlighted CESCE’s position in the national credit and sureties market.
